I love Net-A-Porter: TV

I promise this will be the last post about Net-A-Porter. I just want to share the TV function of the website.

There are so many different video you can see in the website. Here is a new one I just saw it in their new magazine issue. It is Net-A-Porter again!
I really like this website not because I can shop there, but I am enjoying the other functions in the website.
I have noticed the online magazine of Net-A-Porter in my last post. Today when I visit the web, I found it has launched a new issue which features the fashion industry's most famous bloggers. Its really good and the pictures looks great.

Shopping @ NET-A-PORTER.COM

NET-A-PORTER.COM is one of my favourite online shopping website. Even though I didn't shop there very often (because it sells all luxury fashion staffs), I still visit the website sometimes.

NET-A-PORTER.COM has its own magazine and TV program online. Therefore, I can see a lot of interesting news on their website. Most important, the website offers all designer products so that I can find something that is not sell in Vancouver.

Today, I am so exciting that I noticed the website is selling an arty gold-plated glass ring from YSL. I want to buy this ring for a long time, but I can not find it in Vancouver. Here, I found it, and the website has a lot of colour to choose. I decided to buy a blue one. It is a really gorgeous ring. I love it so much. The only problem is the price is too expensive for me and I need to pay another $22 shipping fee. But they offers very nice packages and I can choose different style of the boxes.

Any way, I bought it and hope the ring looks good on my finger.

American Apparel Advertising

American Apparel was famous of being accused of using "child porn" to sell clothes all the time. Some people like, but some are not. Personally, I have to say, except those too overd pictures, some of the ads are still work for me. When I see the girls in the bed with a few simple clothes or even half naked, I feel like the ad is more directly, and says:" the boring clothes make our life interesting."

I know it is now too later to talk about the Gala, but I still want to say that I was a litter bit sad to see that not many celebrities wore Alexander McQueen, especially the theme of this year's Gala was 'Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty'. Anyway, there are still many beautiful looks on the red carpet at the 'Met Ball'. My favorite one is Geisel's dress, a McQueen dress. She was fabulous in the dress.

Prada Season is Coming!

Spring 2011: The Season of Prada's Editorial Domination

I saw this article in the other blog. The blogger posted a whomping 48 magazine coverpages. They all shows Prada's color in this season.

This season, Prada is absolutely attract everyone's eye around the world. All fashion magazines are talking about it. But just like the article said :"I was surprised by the diversity throughout these covers and how even ones marketing an already marketed look do it in an utterly different way."

Anyway, I personally like Parad's colour in this season very much. The colourful staff makes me feel happy, and I am back to my childhood again.

I heard a brand Isabel Marant from one of my professors last week. Then, I did a little bit research about the brand. Suddenly, I found I was fall in love with the clothing of the brand.

Isabel Marant is a French fashion brand created by designer Isabel Marant. The style Isabel Marant is a culture mix, a cosmopolite and urban world. Isabel’s silhouettes are showing feminine elegance, fitted and close-to-the-body.

I was so interested in each look in the spring 2011 RTW collection. Isabel Marant chooses the easy and comfortable movement style, and those sofe pink and purple florals totally bring me back to a 70's summer day. How I wish I could get all the collecton in the coming summer.

I am so excited that I have my own blog now. Eventhrough the main reason I create this blog is to finish an assignment for my E-Business and Marketing, I still believe that I will keep doing it after I finish the course.

I made the blog named Le Vernis which is a nail color from Chanel.  It is a deepened scarlet red with such richness. I love it so much because it looks both classical and trendy all the time. And the color shows my full passion for my new blog. :0
